Statistics on the consumption of electricity and gas broken down by Lower Super Output Area (LSOA), Middle Super Output Area (MSOA) and Intermediate Geography Zone (IGZ).
These workbooks present Accredited Official Statistics on:
- domestic (household) electricity and gas consumption by Lower Layer Super Output Area (LSOA) in Great Britain. This includes Data Zones (Scotland's equivalent of LSOAs).
- domestic electricity and gas consumption by Middle Layer Super Output Area (MSOA) in Great Britain. This includes Intermediate Zones (Scotland's equivalent of MSOAs).
- non-domestic electricity and gas consumption by Middle Layer Super Output Area (MSOA) in Great Britain. This includes Intermediate Zones (Scotland's equivalent of MSOAs).
The data tables for the years 2015 onwards are based on the latest available Census geographies for England and Wales (2021) and Scotland (2011). The data tables for earlier years are based on the 2011 Census geographies.
